This place gets five stars for many reasons. I went in for a brazilian, this week they are offering them at $50 dollars, which is $25 off the original price, but I'll be going back to pay the original price and I'd pay more for such a great experience.

The tiny location on the quaint Maiden Lane makes it even more adorable. They also use their own line of products, which to me is a plus- you can tell they're pros.

They have all sorts of little goodies to shop for while you wait, but the greatest is that they offer some drinks to calm your nerves- a shot of vodka and a Tecate anyone? yes please. It was 10:30 in the morning, so I didn't indulge, but I will definitely get my buzz on next time.

My esthetician, Dulcinea, was super sweet and totally professional. I have had about 100 brazilians, so I wasn't nervous about her seeing my lady parts, but this was my first time at a new location since I moved to SF. I have to say, being a pro at getting waxed, this was by far the best brazilian I ever had. hands down, Dulcinea and Bellapelle are not to be missed.

She made me feel really comfortable, and she was QUICK! The wax they use is virtually painless as far as waxing goes, and she has a great gentleness about her and kept the conversation flowing. She was thorough and was not gonna let me leave with a single stray hair, and I will sing Dulcinea's praises all day, and so will my boyfriend!

You must try this place, you must see Dulcinea, you won't forget it and you won't be sorry! They also have a referral & point system, so if you bring people in, you get special discounts and to me, that's worth sharing.

Most of the great reviews here are for waxing. I was however highly recommended to BellaPelle for their skincare. Shelley is one of the most genuine, nicest and caring esthetician I've ever met… okay. technically, she's the first esthetician I've been to but I've always heard horror stories about going to the esthetician and she's just the total opposite of what I was expecting.

I'd first went to get a consultation at BellaPelle with my dramatic breakout on my chin and Shelley recommended some products to me, some of which are needed prior to Phase treatment which I went for during my second visit. I was seriously afraid that I was gonna start breaking out after the Phase two treatment but nope, I had like maybe one or two tiny pimple that surfaced (it was already there.. just hidden I guess) and disappeared in approximately 2 days. My face didn't peel as much as I'd thought it would but the scars and breakdown did improve dramatically about 3-4 weeks after the first peel, along with use of BellaPelle products of course.

I would highly recommend Shelley to anyone that needs facial treatments, her treatments and products are all natural which is very assuring since my skin is very sensitive.

She's very professional/personable and never makes you feel uncomfortable. She's also very careful and understands the pain your going through. I'm definitely going back in the future!

The owner, Shelley, is AMAZING - she puts in 100% effort to make sure that her customers are satisfied and that her salon is running smoothly. This is a full service salon that has absolutely everything from facials to makeup to eyelash tinting to waxing to men's services (like facials and shaving) to bridal events (think girls party at the salon). The price is worth it for the service that you will be getting. Great idea for a gift for a friend, relative, significant other - definitely the place where you will be pampered.
