6th Annual Black & Pink Ball

Spark does some truly amazing work for the social good in health, housing, jobs, school and voting. They also throw some fabulous fundraising balls and support their efforts with dozens of events throughout the year.

Join Spark and over 800 members and supporters to dance the night away at the 6th Annual Black & Pink extravaganza. 100% of the proceeds support Spark's grantmaking program. Earlier this year, Shelley Costantini, CEO and Founder of BellaPelle Skin studio, was nominated for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Man & Woman of the Year! Each year, from April 1 through June 2, in communities across the country, nominees engage in a spirited competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Man & Woman of the Year" titles, by raising funds for blood cancer research. The nominees compete in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors—the Boy & Girl of the Year.

Shelley's LLS Woman of the Year Campaign, Every Day Counts, was focused on raising funds to support LLS, but also to help raise awareness of new skin care breakthroughs in Oncology Esthetics™ that can help cancer patients feel comfortable in their own skin. Cancer treatments can be very harsh on the patient's skin, which is a challenge Shelley wants to help them alleviate.

"Being nominated for the LLS Man and Woman of the Year was an honor and working with campaign volunteers on fundraising events and encouraging people to donate was rewarding beyond words. The experience helped me to know that I can not only help patients face the skin challenges ahead of them, but I can also raise money for LLS to further their research and develop better, more effective and less painful treatments."
